Once you have signed up, you’ll have immediate access to your dashboard where you can complete your profile set up and then search/organise gigs. It’s really that simple.

Yes. You will be able to post the gig onto your social channels.

Yes, you will be able to see this from within your profile.

Only contact info will be shared and made available within the GigContract so both parties can contact one another on the day of the gig/event if required.

Absolutely. All profiles can add people to assist with organising and managing your gig. You can invite them from within your profile dashboard.

Typically these individuals would be your staff or promoters at a venue. An artist manager or bandmate on an artist profile and a colleague or client as someone organising a One-Off Event.

Your dashboard maps out all of your gigs so you can easily see those you have booked/ organised as well as any outstanding payments, yet to perform and so on.

Absolutely. This is all found within your dashboard once you have logged in.

You can refer to your GigContract™ which includes contact information for the individual at the gig/event who booked you.

Prior to agreeing to a gig, we recommend checking to see if the venue or organiser has insurance. There is an option for them to advertise this but you can still ask when finalising the booking. You may also want to consider getting your own insurance as well.

You can let us know by sending us a message via our feedback page including a link to the profile in question. We will then investigate this.

If you’re still allowed to play you will get paid.

However, if you arrive past the agreed “arrival time”, then the venue or organiser are not obliged to pay you as they may have had to find a last minute replacement.

If you are running late, immediately refer to your GigContract for emergency contact details and let the venue or gig organiser know.

You can also let them know from within the platform by going to the gig advert in your dashboard.

GigRealm allows you to cancel a gig with 72 hours notice. After this, the contract remains active unless both parties mutually agree to terminate the agreement.

If you have discovered a profile that you feel blatantly misrepresents an individual or organisation, please contact us and our team will investigate your complaint.

Absolutely. This is all found within your dashboard once you have logged in.

Venues and One-Off Event organisers will specify on their gig adverts how they will pay you. However, you are still able to apply to play the gig and negotiate this with them before confirming the booking.

Of course. We cater for every audience and situation so if you have a firm cut off time or a certain level of decibel you don’t want to exceed you can add it to your gig so artists are aware.

 

We help to fine tune your search so you easily find the perfect artist who matches your needs and the vibe you’re looking for. Our extensive filters make it simple to narrow your search. Then you can easily review artist profiles which will include images, videos, social media, songs, reviews etc. so you can select the perfect artist.

 

That is entirely up to you! At GigRealm we believe every artist brings value to your venue or special event so the minimum fee is £50. An artist that can pull in a bigger crowd or has more experience in live music may charge more but at GigRealm we have an artist that can fit every budget.

Our platform allows you to pay artists via cash, bank transfer or through our own e-Payment System. You can advertise your preferred method on the gig advert so artists are aware.

If the artist doesn’t turn up, you do not have to pay them.

You can then use the last minute booking feature to find alternative talent. Whilst this is very last minute, we have artists who are signed up to perform these gigs. A new booking will then be created, cancelling the old one.

If you’re forced to cancel a gig last minute as the artist did not turn up and you were unable to find someone else, you will find guidance on how to do this from within your gig advert.

If they have cancelled within the 72 hours notice, they are obliged to still perform as per the GigContract™. However, if you need to find a replacement, you can go into the booking and use the last minute feature to find another artist.

If an Artist is late and you allow them to play, you must pay them. If an Artist is late and you have already booked a replacement, you do not have to pay the original artist as per the GigContract™.

If this does happen you have a right to cancel on the day as per the terms of your contract. However, if you allow them to play or they do have their copy of the GigContract™ proving it is them after all, you’re obliged to pay. We also have a resolution centre to also assist with issues post gigs. If the artist is definitely not who they said they were, you can also use our last minute booking feature to source a new artist who may be able to fill in.

If an artist turns up and performs, you are obliged to pay their performance fee.
